Teacher Materials

The AC²inG Teacher Resource Guides are designed to aid teachers in the implementation of the supplemental curricular materials.

The resource guide includes the following information:

1. A description of what the materials are
2. A brief overview of the research behind the materials
3. A description of different activity types and their associated pedagogical goals
4. Suggestions for classroom implementation
5. Key features included in the design of each activity
6. An individual guide for each unit with:
   • Common Core Standard Alignment
   • Key takeaway for each activity
   • Prerequisite knowledge required for each activity
   • Key terminology in each activity

The discussion questions for each AC²inG activity do appear on the computer screen after the worked example pair. However, we recommend that you print paper copies of the discussion questions for students to work on. Printable PDF copies of the discussion question page for each activity are provided below.
