Welcome!

STEM Career Awareness

STEM Career Clubs is a program funded by the National Science Foundation and Burroughs Wellcome Fund that focuses an intervention on 200+ students in 4 after-school STEM clubs in NE North Carolina, supported by Parent, Teacher, Leadership & Student Strategic Teams.

Students explore project-based learning activities in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and entrepreneurship that extend the curriculum taught in the classroom and build student competency in STEM workforce skills, tools, and technology.

The goal of this project is to sustain innovative, interactive, and research-based after-school STEM Career Clubs to increase the likelihood that participating students will pursue STEM majors and careers.

Teachers and students alike will benefit from the wealth of resources and information contained on this website. We invite you to use all of the videos, fact sheets, scripts, and project materials provided here to enhance your classroom, start your own STEM club, and learn about STEM careers.
